Our inaugural morning network was everything we hoped for and more. Today was something special. Really special!
When we first dreamt up LinkedIn Local Barnet, our goal was simple: to create a friendly, affordable space where independent business owners and local traders across North London could come together, share opportunities, and grow side by side.
This morning, twenty-six incredible entrepreneurs walked through the doors of The Prince of Wales in Barnet, and that little idea suddenly became a living, breathing community.
From the moment people arrived, the energy was electric. After a warm welcome, the room came alive as everyone introduced themselves and shared what they do. The diversity of businesses from digital marketing and trades to retail and consultancy, was inspiring to witness. Exactly the kind of cross-pollination we’d envisioned.
A huge shout-out to Ana and the team at The Prince of Wales @princeofwaleseastbarnet who truly went above and beyond. From the surprise vouchers for attendees to the perfectly prepared refreshments, their hospitality set the tone for the day. This is what genuine partnership looks like.
Grateful thanks also to our brilliant co-hosts, Bidemi Alabi Barnet TV and Julian Coleman from Julian Coleman Photography. Your support and energy helped bring this event to life.
So, what’s next?
We’re back for our second LinkedIn Local Barnet on Thursday, 4th December, 9am–11am. Same venue, same mission, just bigger and better.
If you’re an independent business owner or trader in North London looking to build genuine connections (no hard sells, just real people and real collaboration), this is your sign to join us.
Let’s keep building something special together
